Aside from my traveling interests, I participate in a diversity of activities and hobbies, anything from tearing up the ski slopes to keeping advanced marine ecosystems. Other sports or hobbies include mountain biking, tramping, kayaking, jogging, squash and dabbling in the equities market. In particular I have become interested in photography, something I can enjoy while participating in other activities.

Currently I am involved in several non-profit organizations (Marine Aquarium Society of Toronto and CIBC Run for the Cure), working towards adding the CMA (Certified Management Accountants) designation to my name and several other business interests. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2004 with an undergrad in Marine and Freshwater Biology and Economics. This combined with my CMA designation in the future will hopefully allow me to achieve my goal of working at the executive level in the biotech industry.
